Do I have the choice of activating a squad again in the command phase with Tallon using one of my allotted commands, or do I have to wait to activate him in the squad phase? If so wedge is a nice squad to use.

You activate the Squadrons with the Ship that has Adar on it... At the end of that Activation, you choose one Squadron to click back to Unactivated.

That happens immediately .

If you have another Ship to give another Squadron Order right away... Go For It .

This is where you get some wonderful terms such as the B-Wing Triple (Love) Tap ... Where a B-Wing moves in and Shoots on one Adar'd Squadron Command, at which point, a Nearby Yavaris reactivates him immediately, resulting in Two more Shots, for a total of 3x (Black Blue) on what poor unfortunate ship ended up nearby...

No, because it doesn't unclick until after the activation has finished... So you have to use all of those Squad commands first , and then unlick it, at which point, that ship has already done its commands.

Doesn't work, Adar Tallon triggers after the whole command has resolved.

I used Tallon on Yavaris to great effect on Luke recently. Tallon activated Luke who double attacked (2 crits!) and then got another activation from a CR90 I had near by with a token. 3 hull down from 1 squadron!

I find the tallon / yavaris / Dutch combo close to broken

"Oh, you wanted to actually USE three of your hero squadrons? I'm so sorry...they're all activated now and just targets.."
