So I'm new to the game, just bought a TIE /P and the FA Core Set. My off time to find a group is limited so this is a slow buildup, but I want to start some form of TIE Bomber/Punisher Squadron. Right now I'm eyeing a TIE Bomber and a K-wing (Connor Net), and I need to know other recommended purchases. I am on a budget, but coming off of W40k this is significantly cheaper to upgrade, and was thinking of picking up the Imperial Veteran box when it comes out.

I had half a mind to make a Deathrain build, but I want to weigh additional options before I have to drop any more money. I would certainly like to run a 4 TIE /SA list or a Bomber/Punisher duo with escorts.

Also, can I expect the same level of difficulty painting these models as I do my Space Marines?
