Hey everyone.... So what is the current "it" squad out there as of now???

rebels i'd say PHeavers list, or KO's list (3K with tact) or Ace Ace Stresshog.

imperial i'd say Palp n friends / OL n friends (Soont vader + friend)

Scum id say 4TLT y and IG BA or BC depending on local meta.

Whenever I develop a new "off the wall" list I always check it against the following lists:

• Dash/Corran
• Han 3Z
• Howlrunner Swarm
• Whisper, Deci
• BroBots

As you can see, those are old archetypes. They still show up, and a lot of people are very experienced with them. The list is getting much longer now, which is a great thing, but hard for trying to play the meta. Common lists now are:

• Bossk/Boba (courtesy of VaynMaanen's thread)
• IGB plus 2 TLTs, or 1 and 2 Zs
• Palpatine and Fel+Vader, or Inquisitor+Vader, or Omega Leader+Whisper
• Crack Swarm (3black 3omega, or howlrunner version)
• Worlds Final Table lists

I think Dengar is going to be a big thing, and once imperial vets release happens everything can change again. The playing field is so full right now that there is no one list to beat, there is a list of lists to beat, and for some people that list will be 3-4 different things, for others it could easily go up to 20. Yep, it is a healthy state the game is in now, that's for sure.

Also a list isn't going to win just fir being a list. You do kind of have to know how to fly it. And dice of course help.

Bro bots are hard where I play. Palp mobile is another. Poe is pretty popular too. Different builds with him.

Definitely know that you have to know how to fly a list, but there are going to those lists that are inherently better just because of what current combinations of ships, pilots and upgrades are available and what wondering what everyone thought those lists might be.

Toughest for me is:

Dash - Corran

followed closely by:

Palpmodile - Vader - Soontir

Then any double regenerating rebel list with Corran (either Miranda or Poe with R5-P9

On my last tournament a good friend was flying this:

Kyle Katarn + Moldy + RecSpec + TLT + VI

Horton Salm + TLT

Miranda Doni + TLT

You have 3 PS8 TLTs with almost every shot modified, every turn he would give Miranda a focus token, Horton re rolls everything and after Kyle has a focus for every shot, he is also a good player and he could consistently get at least 2 of them at range every turn, also after some turns it wouldn't matter who you blocked since Kyle had enough focus for the rest of the game. On the tournament he was killing Poes like flies, Poe only has 2 agility and all the rolls are modified so the damage output is VERY consistent.
