Greetings X-Wing community members!

I am looking for some good gift ideas for my local Tournament Organizer. He does a lot in the local scene to recruit players, advertise tournaments, ensure the FLGS gets tournament kits in...lots of stuff. He is greatly appreciated in the local community here and I want to try and give back.

Have you ever gotten something special for your local TO? If you are currently a TO, what kind of gift would you appreciate from your community?

How much does he play? If not x-wing maybe a gift card to the store he supports the most?

Acrylic templates/tokens always make a neat gift.

Our tournaments are so small that he also gets a chance to play. He is a great player who also attends the big events, like worlds for the last few years, and he has won a regional tournament in the past. He has plenty of cool templates and acrylic tokens for being such a good player and from starting near the beginning of the game. The gift card idea is something I could work with though.

Yeah a gift card would be great cuz he can pick what he wants but that's laaaaame.

Here is a better idea. Find out which ship is his favourite, then buy him one, but get it painted for him in some scheme that's appropriate. Maybe even a custom scheme with his name on it or something?

Don't get me wrong. A GC is a great idea and it will be appreciated nonetheless, but I always get a kick out of giving someone something that really knocks their socks off. You might have to do some friendly prying to find out a suitable theme, but it will be worth it.

Find his favored ship.

Get a repaint of a really cool variant. I'm particularly fond of N'dru, for instance

Or maybe 3D asteroids, either self-made or bought? Or self-made debris markers?

I second- or well third- the ship repaint idea. If you can't decide which one to do, a t-70 X-Wing painted in Poe's orange and black scheme seems a safe way to go.

As a TO nothing... just want to play.
