My first post here. I've been playing casually for 12 months are recently really got into playing a lot more. This is largely due to my step son who has started playing, so I now have a regular opponent. I have a reasonable number of ships and my favourite faction is definitely scum and villainy which I fly almost exclusively, though I do dabble with rebels now and again. I have been experimenting with the YV-666 and having moderate success. However I have just played my first game with this:
Syndicate thug Y-Wing, blaster turret, BLT-A4, R4 Agromech = 24 x2
Cartel spacer, M3-A interceptor, heavy scyk, mangler cannon = 20 x2
Binayre pirate, Z-95 headhunter = 12
Total = 100
In the game played my stepson had two ps4 f/o ties with marksman, a ps4 advanced and a lambda shuttle with kagi and some upgrades I can't remember. I wiped him off the table in 6 turns without losing a ship. He flew ok but the scyk said and y wings hit like a train!
However, the Agromechs did very little as the were always forced to target kagi and the y's dial isn't the best. I like the bones of the build but I'm wondering if I should swap out the Agromechs for two unhinged astromechs to free up the dial a bit? Or perhaps switch things around a little to swap the z95 out for a basic m3-a?
Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
