Mauler Mithel and Dengar

By thanosazlin, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

I know in the past prior to Wave 2 there was much discussion on using Mithel and Chiraneau and the FACT that you could use Chiraneau to move Mithel and only MOVE Mithel "0" or say a millimeter then cause 1 damage to enemy squadrons that you were already engaged with previously.

So what about using Mithel with Dengar? i see no reason why , based on current ruling (unless FFG FAQs it), that you can't fly in Dengar to place HEAVY on squadrons already engaged by Mithel and then use Mithel to move "0" or a millimeter because of HEAVY and deal 1 damage to all squadrons Mithel is engaged with?

Absolutely.

That was my plan a couple games ago. Unfortunately, Mithel is still in a TIE Fighter, and he died before he could cause even a single point of damage.

I usually have Mithel in my list with Jumpmaster's or Dengar

Ahh my brilliant strategy has been revealed to the masses :P

Yeah Mithil is a brilliant combination with Dengar, probably the best fighter combo i can think of. The little guy can do more damage than any other squadron. If you wanna keep him alive put an advanced in so they can't alpha him.
