[Scum] Boba, Zuckuss, Palob

The upcoming wave has got me excited to get some new options to add to a Spray list (which usually fills half the list, leaving only 2Y TLT, another big ship like the Agressor/YV-666 or a bunch of Z-95's)

With the Mist hunter coming around the 30 point mark, that leaves room for one of the Hawks.

So without further ado, here is a list I am considering:

Boba - 39

Adaptability - 0

Engine Upgrade - 4

Total = 43

Zuckuss - 28

Veteran Instincts - 1

Mist Hunter title - 0

Tractor Beam - 1

Total = 30

Palob - 20

Adaptibility (optional)

Cloaking Device - 2

Dorsal Turret - 3

Total = 25

Squad = 98 points

Boba is not very equipped in this case (usually you want something like K4 for extra action economy), but he can get into range 1. With adaptability (even if you can't switch it around) together with the bid, you should be able to hunt some aces.
Zuckuss is the same, also at PS9 due to vet instincts. Some repositioning due to the barrel roll, the tractor beam is just icing (and incidentally, you can choose to fire Boba first or Zuckuss first, which may end up being usefull in some cases where you use the beam to tractor something into range 1 of Boba).

Palob is just there to be nasty. Works nice against Poe which is popular, and has a somewhat decent attack with the dorsal turret. He also makes up a bit with the lack of action economy on the other guys, by making the enemy defense weaker. It also is very nice with Zuckuss, as the defender will most likely not have the focus token to spend on the dice, making his extra green weaker.

Here is where I am not sure:

I could replace the gear on Palob with a TLT (and leave a 1-point bid). It would give him more damage potential, but it would be very important to keep range 2 to keep both his ability and the TLT working.

Also it would decrease his survivability and probably make him a big target (which goes down fast). I actually never played with Palob before so I don't know if he really needs the cloaking device...

Another option would be to remove the cloak and put K4 droid on Boba, making him even more scary.

I really like the base of this list, so any help with the final loadout is appreciated! :)

I think that is a great list! I love the cheap build for Palob in particular because he is always such a big target because of his ability.

I think the only thing I don't fully understand is: why only 98 points? I would add in Intel Agent and Inertial Dampeners on Boba so you can really maximize his pilot ability and adaptability. Those two upgrades give you a ton of flexibility.

Interesting. You are light on upgrades to provide survivability and punch, but I'm a sucker for Scum.

The setup seems fine. Like Palob. You can out PS aces and concentrate fire to knock out swarms. Little susceptible to TLT fire and might have hard time with heavy defense aces.

Like you, I'm not 100% on load outs but this would be fun to play around with. With this setup 4-LOM can stress opponent twice by R2 tractor beam shot that BRs them into R1 for his ability. Cool but not counting on it.

I think I like Palob better than Torkil myself. Especially with all the Poe-ing around.

But ICT is an interesting choice. It would give a little more range and control. So now I have to choose between 3 interesting options on Palob :-)

Switching Boba to Kath might also be nice (if she is focussed down she can pack a punch while zooming away), although she can't keep up with aces as well since her PS is a tad too low (or you have to switch out predator...)
