Trying to prep for first tournament have played through campaign and loved Boba and the HKs.

Hmm.

I don't have any experience with HKs, but I feel like in this list they might die fast. hard to say.

I don't know about Dengar in that list, you don't have a whole lot that gives out conditions.

Actually, I think that will be the doom of this list, you don't have a whole lot.

Activations will be your primary concern. You only have 4 activations, so you're going to find your opponent sitting back with his better units, he'll move all his troopers and probe droids and officers, and wait for all your units to go. Then he'll be able to act with impunity until the next round. This can be a problem because HKs die fast, but they also wipe the board. Glass Cannons. Especially those white die defenders. However you're really going to want them to shoot first.

I love Boba Fett though. He's a monster, especially if you can drop his title command card on a heavy target like Vader.

Thanks for the feedback, in campaign the HK's were just monsters. The line of sight perk combined with three dice was just murder. I really liked Dengar's apply conditions perks. My idea was to apply stuns and weaken and then use Bobas ferocity to take people out . Just love boba and really want to build a team around him. I get 4x4 RG are powerhouses as are 4x4 Sabs but I don't have the cards of figures to do either of those.

Neither 4x4 nor Sabs are the undisputed king of the hill at the moment, considering the new errata. You might want to check it if you haven't already :-)

Regarding the list, I'd get rid of the elite HKs. You don't have enough numbers to make Priority Target worthwile, and the other upgrades to the regulars aren't really substantial. I'd also get rid of Dengar - his main shtick are consditions, which isn't neccessarily bad. What's bad is his green/yellow attack, which makes him struggle to get both the range and damage to apply conditions in the first place. That would leave you with 18pts to play.

Start with Punishing Strike, which would give you very flexible access to Stun on both HKs and Fett, thus replacing Dengar. I'm also in the camp of Mercs absolutely needing one, possibly two groups of Hired Guns just to be competitive in objective grab missions. Gideon is also pretty crucial for that and his focus and his leader keyword. So that's around 10 of your points, I'd consider some Trandoshans or allied Echo troopers to add some close quarters staying power & meat into the list.

That's my take at least. Though I feel obligated to point out that I don't like Fett and would take him out in the first place. Then again, I understand why people play him isn't necessarily connected to how good he is in gameso... ;-)
