I've been putting together a tournament list with VI Vader and Omega Leader. They've won me some fine games together as Vader is great at knocking down top aces and Omega runs interference on who Vader isn't on.

I've tried a few different options for their +1 - Vessery and Whisper come to mind, but both have weaknesses versus TLTs and PWTs. Soontir Fel fits in that slot and doesn't have those weaknesses, but leaves a question open.

Here's what I have:

Darth Vader (29) - 35

* Veteran Instincts - 1

* Engine Upgrade - 4

* TIE/x1 - 0

* Advanced Targeting Computer - 1

Omega Leader (21) - 26

* Juke - 2

* Comm Relay - 3

Everyone knows this Soontir - 35

* SD, AT, PtL

This leaves four points open. My intuition is to use Prockets on Vader to give him a big alpha against an initial TLT Y or Lambda, but I could also put a stealth device on Omega Leader too so he is harder to ignore versus his pricier colleagues and he'll be even more unkillable that way.

Either way, I think a one point bid is more valuable than a Twin Ion Engine Mk. II on Omega if I put Prockets on Vader.

Do you think I'm right though? Omega is a top player, but he's competing in a slot here versus a Palpshuttle and without a potent attack from Whisper or Vessery I'm not sure if I'm structuring this well.

I've been flying this with SD on Omega and a couple of Crack Omegas as wing men. My opponent usually can't decide if they should go after Vader or the TIE's. Both can be monsters in the late game.

personally i would drop VI on Vader in favor of Juke and add a Procket to Vader
