I play mostly imperial but the k wing has recently pulled me over to the rebel ranks. Saw someone mention a shockhwk just wondering what that is
What is the ShockHwk
Never heard the term myself. Presumably some configuration of hwk, but can't think what weapon would be equated with an electrical attack.
They were talking about using it instead of a stresshawg

Sounds like the type of jargon that a certain IG-88 fan likes to make up all the time.

ShockHWK should have been Dace with ICT and Tactician.

No, that was me. And it is catching on! Everything is going according to plan...
It is indeed TLT + Tactician.
They are pretty terrible on their own, but with some fitting backup these things are plain evil. Just don't force the stress too hard, usually one trigger is enough to then kite them for the rest of the game with that op TLT.
I thought shockhwk was tactician and ion.
Its called Shock-HWK syndrome. Symptoms are shaky hands, sleepless nights, and a fear of bird calls. people contract this mental illness after losing to 3 HWKs with Blaster Turret with a list that the week before won a tournament. I know this because I'm on medication for it
I'm not a fan of Tacticians on HWK's (or K's) their dial is just to limited for an in arc, R2 only ability. TLT Hwks do great with Recon specialist though.

Understandable, but thats why I call them ShockHWKs - they can do their trick maybe once, but when they do, they really hurt.

I ran Roark with tlt and tac at world's, somehow I have yet to be dissapointed by running Roark.
It is a player, incidently flying a hwk-290 in a tournament, whilst not wearing pants.
With 3 scum hawks at a tournament (and I have), pants are not a concern.
