The only question now is what do I add to the fleets? A second Raider and Tantive or two more Lambdas, or another Decimator or 2KWings or...

I'm so jealous. My oldest is 24 and lives out of state and my two youngest are 2 years and 5 months - one is too far away to game with me anymore, the other two are at least 5 years too young. Glad you guys have fun.

Boo! Who plays epic tournament rules anyways? (although I really love the asteroid placement rules they have, I use those)

The epic point limit is entirely unnecessary in casual games, which is where epic thrives.

Only if you're playing in an Epic tournament. Otherwise, 300 points is only a recommended points value, and there's no such thing as "epic points". I know people suggest that you should use the tournament rules instead of the standard rules even in non-tournament games, but that's a house rule, and if you both agree, you can do what you like.

Also, one of the scenarios included with the GR-75 uses three of 'em anyway.

Personally, if I were playing in a game with three huge ships or more per side, I'd consider increasing the playing area even more - more depth between starting areas, rather than more width.

Our last battle was 425 pts with a Tantive and two transports and a Raider and two Gozantis for huge ships!

I just made two lists experimenting for our next game, each around 725 pts!

We've been playing with a little over three feet in width and just over 6' in length, its not big enough! We are looking for material in black to cover our entire 9'x5' table for Epic! The extra is definitely needed

I really really want to pick up a second Gozanti myself. But I'm also waiting impatiently for Wave 8...
