How do the minis hold up, bend easy, come bent or broken, hold shape well, explode if i chew on it, anything I should know?
Quality of the Minis?
The figures are made of a fairly strong durable plastic. Some of the individual pack figures (Yula Korlitz) have arrived bent, but are easily fixed as I posted over at BGG ...
... She has yet to return to her drunken ways.
As for the explosive chew toy properties of the figures ... I'll leave that for you to determine!
None of my minis ever came bent except the gun on Yula, but just dipped it in hot water for about 60 sec, and came out great.
The minis are among the best prepaints that I have seen. They are detailed and quite durable.
Here are some comparison pics:
That's (L-R) Von Heizinger (Tann), Tala Aponi, D&D mini used for my custom faction, Eva Kramer (Tann), D&D mini, Karl Zerman (Tann)
(L-R) Commando Delta (Tann), Schocktruppen (Tann), MacNeal (Tann), Star Wars mini for my custom, Wolf (Tann)
The detail is great, the number of different colors on each figure is better than most...
The only few, negative comments I've heard about the figs is the painting quality. Some minis have had paint blobs that needed touching up. Mine were fine though. My only quibble is the flesh tones on the Reich figures were a bit too white. But they are definitely painted to a good gaming standard.
the quality of my minis were great they are the best minis ive ever seen in a game so far
I bought the game when it came out with Wolf as a promotion and then Yula later. I had to do some touch up on Hermann, Eva, Berry and Tala. Stosstruppen was the worst. For the amount of time I spent on that figure for touching up, I could almost repaint the whole thing. The rest were fine as they were. I grade them as table-top standard overall. Based on the pictures from the official French site, I believe that the quality is getting better.
