I'm trying to make an arc-dodgy but reliably damaging list to counter the stress meta. When the Ghost becomes available, the plan is to take Hera instead of the Into agent, but for now this seems best.

I came up with a couple of ideas to round this off, but I'm not certain which would work best, or if there are any better options that I haven't thought of.

So, for the remaining 25 points:

A: Gold Squadron, TLT, R2 Astro

B: Blue Squadron, FCS

C: 2x Bandit

D: Drop HLC to Mangler, Prototype Pilot, Chardaan Refit, Bandit

Any suggestions?

I've been messing with something similar today, inspired by a couple other threads on the same thing. Well that and my recent repaint of an A-wing heheh.

You can fit a 4th ship depending on your kit and if your using unreleased content and such. I think this might be better route.

Tycho is great like you have him although theres cheaper more durable builds like wired/AT (30 pts) as opposed to DD/EI. You could also combine the two for DD/AT for a middle ground. Its easy to get greedy with his amazing movement but even with *only* PtL and DD hes still akin to a mini vader. Superior maneuverability less killy. If you face turrets I would recommend AT as priority. With a defensive build like above they will need a superior ace or he'll burn down their whole fleet eventually.

Farlander looks fun but hes hella expensive like that. I say lose the HLC, change FCS to adv sensors and fit a fleahunter in there. Otherwise instead of FCS you consider sensor jammer + opportunist to create a conundrum for your opponent. If going this route you might consider 3PO too. Its hella expensive too, about the same cost as what you have but more durable and similar dice output with potential for 5 shots at R1. The stresshog fits perfectly here (where doesn't it?) because it will turn on sensor jammer and opportunist.

Another idea that could go with this theme is eaden vrill- HLC, 3PO. For 42 pts its hard to beat. Forward arc use the HLC, otherwise whatever r3a2 hits you can smack for 3 with the turret.

I was doubtful about HLC myself - as you say, Keyan is expensive. I think when the VCX drops, Keyan + SoT + Adv. Sensors + E2 + Hera becomes extremely awesome, this was just a build I'm looking at in the meantime. Fair point too about AT on Tycho.

With those tweaks, I end up with

Tycho, Test pilot, DD, PtL, AT, Chardaan

Keyan, SoT, Adv Sensors, E2, Int agent

If I've done my sums right, that leaves me with 32 points to flesh out the squadron...

Ahh, now there's an idea!

The other thing I was wondering about was Prockets on Tycho. Means he jumps by 5 points, leaving 27 points to spare.

Could fit in a Blue with Accuracy Corrector and a 2 pt initiative bid, or FCS, E2 and Tactician with no bid.

So many choices, I'm not sure what would complement it best.
