Two of these ships, to fight point blanc range and do a big KABOOOOM when finished.
Is viable this Scum Y-Wing configuration?
Unfortunately, Y-Wings do not have an Illicit slot for Dead Man's Switch.

A very reliable ship! But Trubrujah is rigth, no ilicit slot. I use an autoblaster y-wing in almost every scum list, I think they are the best 20 invested points. Never dissapointed by this ship, it always kills something. Great if paired with Boba, Guri, and very soon, 4Lom and Zuckuss.
Even a bare y-wing is pretty solid for its cost.
For 'something different' you could try this:
Kavil- dorsal turret, EU, predator. I ran him with bomb loadout and genius too for funsies but it just never panned out. The bones of it are rock solid though and its a refreshing change from the typical TLT. More like a mini PWT.
I've never flown it, but Kavil w/ VI, EU, autoblaster turret, and unhinged astromech would be a lot of fun.

I like scum, I like Ys, and I like flying generics so this thread has it all. My question is pairing ABT with Unhinged. This mech wants you to fly fast and wide. ABT needs you to be in tight. I haven't flown this combo but it seems to me like they would be at cross purposes.
