Now if i have BB8 on say Poe, i move a green maneuver and take the barrel role, can i push the limit off of that and get my two extra actions which gives me a stress but since it's a green move the stress goes away. Or is it just like the ruling with Oicunn and Dauntless title.

Yes it works that way.

Reveal a green maneuver, trigger BB-8 and perform a barrel roll action, trigger PtL and perform a free action and then get a stress. Then perform a green maneuver and remove the stress, then perform your normal action.

I have to admit, I'm more of a fan of him on Ello Asty. Between that, and the white t-rolls then boosting, there are SO many different places you can put that ship.
