Hi guys, I have picked up the basic pack after playing about 10 games with 1 basic race, me and my friend have decided to mix it up a bit.
He played orc/chaos vs my empire/dwarf. The problem is I don't see a way to win against that.
He plays a lot of 1 resource orc and chaos units and completely rushes me down.
Immediately he develops all zones so I cannot wipe him with Judgement of Verena.
He snipes all my cheap units with vile sorceress and nurgle sorcerer and destroys my supports with his quest.
We played several games and everytime this was the same scenario.

Any advice on countering this, building a deck around it? Is this matchup actually balanced?

I would advise putting more early pressure cards in your deck, as well as scrapping judgement of Verena, unless you have cards which move opponents developments (they do exist).

Secondly, put more cards vs anti-corruption in your deck, as I believe he will run some of that with the chaos.
