Imperial Veterans was announced a few weeks ago, offering some very helpful fixes for the TIE Defender and Bomber. But what about the Rebels? The E-Wing, and the namesake of the game itself, the X-Wing, are in sore need of fixes, more so than any TIEs. Yet FFG has not even made any hints of such an expansion or anything like it. Will there be a Rebel Vet expansion?

FFG has released Rebel Aces after it released Imperial Aces and in at least one interview one of the designers stated Aces-like packs are one of the more elegenant ways to bring corrections into the game. Especially with new pilots and upgrades to choose from.

There are several threads speculating what rebel veterans will / should contain.

Main contenders are the E-wing, the Y-wing, and the T-65 X-wing.

If you look at the number of pilots the E-wing and Y-wing should be next in line.

If you look at what is necessary for a ship to be competitive the E-wing and T-65 are good contenders.

I still can't understand why the T-65 needs a fix.

maybe.... what I think is now that C-3PO will be in abundance (due to store champs) there will be no real need to get the tantive any more. so they will bring out a Rebels version of the tantive with

• Docking for A-Wings (similar to Imp assault carrier)
• Phonex squad Pilots
• More epic crew eg Admiral achbar, Mon Mothma, Bail Organa
• Blue paint job
• New Epic weapons

Certainly there will be a Rebel Veterans Expansion.

And if you ask me:

- T-65 with green markings

- Corran and Tycho as X-Wing Pilots

- T-65 Title

- HWK (or another ship with support abilities) or another T-65 X-Wing

I'm pretty sure we will see the X-Wing part in the expansion as FFG showed us they take ideas from the community e.g now have put a Marek Steele on a Defender.

T-65 / E-Wing

Depending on the time it takes to get the release out, we could well see the black and white X-wing leaked from the set of Rogue One, which would be awesome. If they wanted something else from the same period, a Phoenix Squadron A-wing or the prototype B-wing from Rebels would fit, but those have both had 2 releases now, in their own packs and Aces.

I think the X-wing is a shoe-in, to be honest. Y-wings are seriously lacking in the pilot department, with only 4, but again, have been released twice (albeit as Scum the second time). K-wing is too big, E-wing is perhaps too similar to the X (though Imp Vets is two of the same ship, so that might not be an issue).

Of course, they could do a T-65 and a T-70 in Black Leader colours, but Poe already has a card, and I can't see them releasing a third T-70 any time soon.

In terms of what I'd most likely buy, T-65 and Y-wing would do it for me. I'd be open to an E-wing as I don't have one yet, but I probably will by the time the set comes out.

E-wing and Z-95 (65 already got more pilots than 90% of ships out there, rivaled only by TIE\Ln)

Or who knows, E-wing and HWK >: D

I'm still hoping we get y-wing pilots with EPT slots! Not so keen on a T65 as i have 4 already.

Maybe they will do a combo like in the imperial veterans pack, one OT ship and 1 EU.

I just hope it has pilots from the new movie coming out this year, Rogue One.

Y-Wing and E-Wing... and it would match the Imperial Veterans pack nicely. One underused "tank/bomber" which really needs new pilots and one overcosted top fighter which could also benefit from different pilot abilities.

I think the T-65 should come as a 2nd blister on its own.... called X-Wing Revamp - comes with one generic, 3 uniques and 4 copies of any upgrade fix cards

I just want an expansion for some cool new paint jobs and another source for integrated astromech. I have 5 T-70s already do I really need to buy another one to get that last card? I mean, obviously I will that's why I have 5 in the first place, but I'd rather get something different and new.

Eventually we will get another Aces pack for Rebels. Just not sure when.

I'm still imagining Tycho on a T-65. Perfect with Targeting Astromech and perhaps a torpedo.

I'm guessing the next Rebel Aces pack will be E-wing/Y-wing. I'm also in the camp that believes the X-Wing has plenty of pilots and doesn't need anymore help outside of more Astromechs.

I think the Ewing is an obvious choice for a repaint pack due to only have 2 pilots and the ship beyond corran under performing.

Beyond that, it is wierd tho. Both the ywing and z95 need new pilots but we already have repaints from most wanted. The T-65 still needs some help, but needs neither new pilots or another model. The falcon, Outrider and hwk dont seem like likely candidates and the K-wing is too new.

xwing: it needs a CHEAP source to get lots of integr.astros, though.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm NOT buying 5-6x t70s for the astros (I'm buying 1, maybe 2).

an aces pack with lots of IA would be "really nice".
