i got lost somewhere 4 or 5 month ago, since then i haven't played xwing :/ Now i start to get something fresh from the new cards without knowing the actual meta...

i've played carnor more than soontir also before, therefore i think i can keep him alive with just ptl and the at. Kallus should help to keep the most nasty or distrubing enemy a bit calm i think (and also i like this card, i can hardly wait for the tie bomber shuttle card).

Drop accuracy corrector off of Vader and replace it with Advanced Targeting Computer. Then you're set!

I thought about that, but actually i think AC works quite better with juke (and carnor) and additionally i've some kind of init bid. On the other side ATC could be more interessting with Kallus, also i could maybe trade juke for something else then.

I've actually thought of running Vader with AC so I could concentrate on taking strictly defensive actions to keep him alive for the long haul. Your build would accomplish that.

Vader defends himself best by killing stuff before it gets to shoot. If he can't get a shot, he uses BR + boost to avoid arcs. Failing that, then he can use focus + evade and hope to hell the greens don't abandon him. If you are taking evade + focus and all the time hoping damage doesn't get through, you're setting yourself up for disappointment...

I was thinking about a very similar list, only with ATC on Vader, an intel agent on the sigma (amazing when you need to block a PS10+ pilot) and trading the engine upgrade for a stealth/hull on Carnor, which gains you another point for initiative.

My rule of thumb is: if you can't use all of your upgrades on the same turn (without sacrificing your attack dice mods) then your list isn't as efficient as it could be. My solution was to drop the engine and go for focus+evade each turn, but Vader with juke, engine and accuracy corrector still fits my criteria. Juke, engine and ATC not so much as you'll often be wanting to do more actions than what's possible. I have yet to try either and don't know how well any of them would work, but feel that engine, juke and ATC would be the weakest of the three options. Time to experiment :)
