Star Destroyer Paint

By NeverTellMeTheOdds, in Star Wars: Armada

My gladiator is quite a bit darker than my victories and imperial star destroyers, and I was wanting to repainted it to match. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a paint that matches. I've tried 8 different greys from PP and GW, and even tried mixing some to match, with no luck. Does anyone know if a paint that will match?

I hit this issue.

I painted them all.

Tonight the ISD gets painted to match the others as well.

Did you just put new primer on them and go from there?

I haven't touched this issue yet. I afraid of screwing up the paint....however, I have repainted 2 AFKs, 2 Nebs, and 3 Cr90s. Fore the Crs and Afks I used a light grey primer I found at ACE hardware, used GW nulin oil wash and highlighted with GW administration grey or White.

I'm thinking of investing in a spray gun.

At some point I will try and post some pics once I figure out how to do it.

After I gave them a bit of a Wash in Soapy Water first, and let them dry...

One Glad and One of the Two Vics, I disassembled completely before Priming.

The second Vic and the Imperial were Primed while complete.
