FOs, Inqy TIEs, and the Stretch Palpmobile?

It occurs to me that with the First Order TIE Fighter and the Inquisitor's TIE and all the wonderful pilots both have brought us (along with, to a lesser extent, the new TIE/Ln pilots in the Gozanti) that the Empire now has a bit of wealth in terms of "budget aces". Omega Leader, Zeta Leader, Omega Ace, The Inquisitor, and Valen Rudor all have the potential to be true players on the table.

This gives me an interesting thought: might it be possible to take a pair of these guys, say Omega and Zeta Leader, or Zeta Leader and Valen Rudor, ect and pair them with Palpatine in the new DELUXE edition Palpmobile, aka a Patrol Leader Decimator (or even Oicunn in the case of two FOs)?

Or you could leave Palp in his Economy Edition Palpmobile, the Space Cow, and fly him with the trio of The Inquisitor, Omega Leader, and Wampa.

Almost certainly isn't going to win popularity contests vs. Vader n' Fel and other, similar "dual ace with Space Cow" lists, but... hey, random thoughts to keep my mind off how brutally boring work is today.

I'm definitely a fan of the inquisitor in the list, especially since by replacing soontir I can put electronic baffle and tractor beam on the palp mobile to give it extra tricks.

The beauty of "palp aces" is that there's really no required ships other than shuttle plus palp. Other than that you can flavor to taste with whatever you like.

i believe if you're going to throw palp on any non lambda it would have to be Kenirk with isard... eating up a massive amount of squad points. (56) and thats just crew + kenkirk.you might be surprised how much health 1 agility gives when its got palp on board.

Yeah, I can see some players crying foul over that list when it comes out. I'd feel bad about it if not for the fact that Rebels are getting Ghost + phantom with the accuracy corrector + autoblaster turret shenanigans (potential for 4 unblockable damage per turn...)

Poor Scum. Although the Punishing One is still shrouded in mystery...

Also depending on price the generics are probably pretty money. Scum hasn't had a real beefy jouster yet really.

Been thinking about this one and have not come to a decision on best EPT for Inquisitor yet. VI would help against other Ace lists. Juke makes sense with the Title. Lightning reflexes would make you very unpredictable in that inital melee.

Love the idea of waiting until Wampa fires and decide if you want to Palp a damage card automatically or not.

It does look tempting but PTL will give a F+TL+E almost every turn. That's the dream right there. Omega Leader is there to hunt down the PS 9+ aces.

Sure, 4-LOM + Zuckuss is nice. But its not anywhere near as redonkulous as the shenanigans the rebels and imperials are getting. I expect we'll see a flood of threads going on about how OP ghost + phantom is and maybe even complaints about Wampa + palpatine (sorta like when twin laser turrets first came out). Maybe not, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Not sold on a TB shooting at PS2 after your entire list. Could be fun with rocks and all but not ideal.

Not sold on a TB shooting at PS2 after your entire list. Could be fun with rocks and all but not ideal.

It's a fine buy at 1 point and a slot you don't use if you use it even 1x in a game to good effect be it messing up a formation or putting someone on a rock.
