I've had my coffee, my smoke, the cats are fed. Tonight is X-Wing Night. I got a gst cheque in the mail. Loookin' at the Rust Bus, not gonna lie. I got me a Gee One comin' soon, so I'm thinkin' Scum! All the Scum!

HUGE mini-league starts today. Pretty :gosh:darn excited about that too. The prize is a big huge Star Wars Republic game, one of those online pay to play type games I'm not sure which one; comes in a huge ass box with a statue though. Along with that is the original Tie Fighter game, still in it's plastic wrap! Also there are a couple unopened Kenner toys, a Boba and a Stormie. And finally there is a Star Wars Official Fan Club Darth Vader and Star Destroyer mini-pack on the line as well. The winner of the HUGE mini-league will get ALL the prizes. Apparently some dude came into the shop and donated the entire kit as a thank you for some awesome thing the shop had done for him or something. I'm not sure, maybe he just really likes having a shop around but it's like this huge pile of SW stuff. Any collector would just be thrilled to have it.

Unfortunately, someone has gotta be the TO and since I'm Ultra High Supreme Donald of the X-Wing Board, I have to do it. I'm probably gonna muck this up. Oh well. I have my Tournament Rules, my Rules Reference, my FAQ, Scoresheets, Cookies...

Anyways, I'm in a good mood because X-Wing.

Let's talk about what ships I should buy! I just sold a couple Tie /fo, so I think I should replace that loss! Maybe a Tie Fighter? What should I get for Scum ships? What do you guys think would pair well with the G1-A?

I'm getting a lot of mileage out of the Khiraxz at the moment - it's cheap and hits hard. Talonbane is pretty great with Engine Upgrade, although you need to be aware he's going to pretty much always be the priority target for your opponent to take down.

I've been enjoying the YV-666 lately as well. It's got a deceptively good dial, and I've been undervaluing the 0 stop move until I tried it. I had a couple of very good games with this list last night:

Ive run the double devils a couple times and really like them. Tactician is a really good/cheap no fly zone upgrade, especially on the 180 arc.

The 180 arc is amazing. For all that they're lumbering ships, that arc makes it quite hard to get yourself somewhere where you can't be shot - particularly if there's two of them on the board...

Tonight is the first game night I can make since mid-December. I'm excited. I've got new T-70's, Tie FO's, and the Gozanti to bring. I'm eager to play some Epic. I am eager to practice for Store Champs. I'm eager to get out of the house!

The only thing is my tooth is KILLING ME. I had a root canal done yesterday and it hurts so much.
