Well, which one do most of you guys use?
Which Squad Builder Program is "best"
I use battlescribe believe you can get it on pc, iPhone and android. Always updated to have the newest ships and FAQs
Edited by Noj00I only know about Yet Another X-wing. A friend showed it to me when I was starting and I never looked for anything else because it did exactly what I wanted.
I and my players group mostly use Squadron Builder. It also takes into account your own collection(if you logged in) and allows you to save your squadrons.
A cool feature we're using a lot for casual play is the random generated list feature. It's not exactly random, but leans on the saved squadrons by others to select the best upgrades for a specific ship/pilot.

Always updated. Easy to use anywhere.
Unofficial X-Wing Miniatures Game Squadron Builder. The one at co.uk.
I like (Yet Another) Squad Builder because it is on webpage with just html and javascript and thus useable from any device. Plus it makes nice links to use in forums like this ![]()

i like it on my PC, however on my phone i find it a bit unwieldy i like aurora squad builder for iOS
I use Aurora for iOS and like it. I tried "Unoffical XWing Miniatures Game Squadron Builder" and didn't like it. Tried it on both computer and through my phone's browser and the display seemed way too busy.
startacties for android. is the best

I've had some stability issues and bugs with this one. Started using yet another squad builder: https://geordanr.github.io/xwing/
As I don't like being forced to login with Facebook, I chose (Yet Another) X-Wing Miniatures Squad Builder. Updated same day as any cards are released. Simple and easy to use. Has a collection feature that works really well. It may not do some of the stats that some others do, but I can access it from anywhere... yes on a phone it bunches up a lot of stuff, but if I need to pull up a created list it is still easy to do. It has the QR code for ListJuggler to be scanned in. All in all a good stable platform that lets you focus on building a squad in theory or with your collection.
Greetings
Squadron Builder seems to work OK on the iPad. I am just getting to grips with X Wing and haven't tried anything complex or novel yet but found the tool's functionality for display and printing useful.

Edward
As always it seems as if I am flying against the odds. I prefer Fab's squadron builder .
Yet Another is the most mobile friendly, and I do most of my squad building 10 minutes after I should have.

Too many clicks and too busy to get done what I want. Also a little slower on updating when cards are spoiled (which is when I want to squad build the most). Yet Another is super simple and straight forward and my preferred.
I generally use battlescribe. It updates pretty regularly, and it works for a few other game systems (if you're into that sort of thing).
Hi
There are now a few to choose from and they're all good in different ways.
Battlescribe is better for mobile if you might be offline. YASB is better if you can rely on having internet.
Mine is optimised for desktop/laptop, with tooltips and popups and other stuff that is harder to use on mobile. I use it on my iPad fine but on my iPhone I sometimes use YASB.
Fab's builder is somewhere in the middle and, like mine has a neat randomiser and other extras.
All are kept up-to-date, although I tend to only add stuff that's been officially spoiled by an FFG news article. In the past, the official spoilers have occasionally contradicted earlier unofficial ones and I don't want anyone's squadron to be messed up.
Just use whichever you find suits you, and remember that you can always use the XWS format we all designed together, and that they all support, so you can move squadrons between different builders.

Edited by voidstateI like Aurora SB for my iPhone (awesome for on the go) and YASB on my PC to when I'm theory crafting
I like YASB
I've gone with YASB but waiting to see what Battlescribe 2.0 looks like when it comes out later on.
