Dual Firespray (S&V) - which loadout?

I'm playing in the winter tournament this weekend and trying to decide which variant of this list I will play. I would appreciate any advice or tips.

I've never ran dual firesprays but I imagine they would be a solid alternative to the firespray/666 builds out there.Your alternate lists is cool too but I'm partial to slave 1 so that's what I'll comment on.

Anyway I'd definitely want VI on both though ships. Tried it every which way possible always came back to VI. It just does so much for these ships but boba in particular. I've been running sprays extensively lately, both imperial and scum and regardless of what I've preached elsewhere they need boost in this sort of list (2 ship aces). Kath is the only spray I've used where I thought I preferred expert handling to boost btw but it takes quite a bit of practice to get used to. Just a thought.

Lose the HLCs or go with a 3 ship and generics. Its good on the initial pass but after that its largely 14 points better spent. Remember your traveling much faster than a small base so your primary will be = or better more often than not. Then consider kaths ability.

From there its wide open since theres just so many builds that can be viable, depending on what you expect to face. I've used k4 and loved it for example, can't say its 'wrong' especially if your running munitions for jousting. That said I've come to the conclusion that tactician is mandatory.

I'd add ion cannon to that list too, at least on boba. If your gonna use a cannon this is what you want. Ignores range bonus and locks down small based ships with tactician so you can follow up with a 4 shot against unmodified defenses.

All the above will also make bombs much, MUCH better which will keep people off your ass..

Glitterstim is fantastic so I can't really say don't. However in this case at least consider 2 x inertial dampeners in its place. ID are a superior K turn at times but again I'm thinking of ion + stress so theres that to consider.

I like Firesprays a lot ... I agree with the above, drop the hlc off both of them ..

Many people will say don't put a cannon on either, but i like the ion on Kath (because, canon lol), but if you can ion someone, then get her rear arc on them on the next move, its nice..

As for moving, engine upgrade is a must add (for me) with this ship...

Tactician works out of both arcs, so that is nice ..

Glitterstim on Boba can be really great, especially if you pop it at the right time ...

Edit: add the Slave 1 title to Boba, even if you don't use a torp... Just cause...
