If I have to deploy using hyperspace rules and I have only large based ships can I set aside just 3 quads? I am thinking no.

I don't think so cause squads have to have a carrier ship and can't be off by themselves.

I still think you could deploy the squads. It's not like normal deployment (as...its not the beginning game deployment) and it says nothing about them being deployed in command distance or anything....

Hence why the Question was asked, and we're waiting on a Response.

But if those squadrons have 'Rogue', the lack of a carrier ship is less problematic.
