Noobs first fleet!

Hey all!

So I picked this game up about a week ago and my first two games besides my learning game were in a local tournament. The list I took wasn't great just something I threw together the night before.

It was

Now I of course lost both of my games pretty miserably. However the thing that surprised me the most was how much work the tie fighters did. Everything I had read and all the advice friends had given me said fighters were bad. They were doing about 5-6 damage to a ship on turns I used squadron commands. In fact I think had I just squadron commanded every turn instead of nav commanding I might have won one of my games. In the second game they managed to score me 9 victory tokens from attacking the rears of ships pretty much the only points I got in that game. So this got me thinking if I built my list around supporting my fighters a bit maybe it would be a bit more solid. After a few hours on feet builder I came up with this.

So Motti and leading shots gives me 6 more hull and pseudo vader for cheaper. The boosted comms ensures that I should be able to use my full four squadrons every command. and the Jump master should keep them from getting tied up for a few turns by other fighters allowing for them to keep attacking ships. I might switch the fighters to bombers but I feel that the fighters might be a bit more flexible. So any advice would be greatly appreciated.
