For something so simple there's an awful lot of interaction with many of the game's range mechanics.
- Classic article throw-ship-at-rock move.
- Throw an ace into a debris cloud.
- Drag Biggs away from the ship he was trying to shield.
- Evict a ship from the YT-2400's donut hole.
- C-3PNO (although they'll probably spend C-3PO on trying to dodge the tractor beam, which still takes out C-3PO for the round)
- Toss Kyle Katarn into the Carnor Bubble.
- Introduce someone to a Conner Net.
- Reposition your foe in front of a line of Cluster Mines.
- Drag an ioned ship up to the back end of a TIE bomber.
- Drag a ship into Range 1 of your TIE defender.
- Drag a ship into Range 1 of your TIE phantom.
- Put a ship that dodged your procket Alpha Strike right back where it's meant to be.
- Get Carnor the hell out of your way.
- Drag an enemy away from their perfect shot.
- Dump an enemy on a rock so they don't get any shot.
- Drag all your enemies together and whack them with an Assault Missile.
- Drag all your enemies together and whack them with an Ion Torpedo.
- Drag all your enemies together, whack them with an Assault Missile, an Ion Torpedo, then drop a proton bomb on them next round.
- Drag a Twin Laser Turret into Range 1 of your most powerful ships.
From the comments:
- Introduce a ship to the front end of a Raider.
- Introduce a ship to the board edge.
- Bring N'Dru/Lone Wolf guy into range 2 of one of his buddies.
- Drag a ship into Range 1 of your Talonbane Cobra.
Move someone into a stressed 4-Lom's bubble.
Have it on an IG-88 on the 2nd cannon slot (using the other cannon for something else)... and never use it
Moving a ship with deadman switch into range one of another hostile.
Have your EPT Defender tractor a ship within range one of another ship, then resolve Ruthlessness. Twice.
Any more?
