Is their a way to play x-wing solo player?

Yeah, but it requires the YT-1300 expansion pack.

Not especially, but it's not hard to imagine how you'd do it. I've run simple practice scenarios before for things like practicing the Rule of 11 or similar. There are some scenarios on Mission Control that are meant to be played solo as well.

I have been playing solo during the week, it is just Practice as they say. I will put/throw all of my astroids on the table then just maneuver which ever squad i want to play with through them and back again. Just to get a feel and know, when and how, I can maneuver around them. I also try not to bump and of my ships either.

That's the link to Heroes of the Aturi Cluster campaign.

Included in the campaign... they have taken a lot of the imperial ships and ramped up to the next level a number of AI techniques others before have created. No AI is ever going to fly quite as good as a human opponent but the practice is more for you testing a squad to learn how to fly it a bit better that starting cold with a human opponent.

If you have an Android device, go to the app store and search 'X-wing Mark 13'. This app is very easy to use, and while it's no substitute for a real opponent, you can still have fun games 'against' it, and it's a good way to learn your ships. The interface is dead simple; you pick a ship, tap where the nearest enemy ship is in relation to it, and it generates the most effective manoeuvre/action combo.

If you only have computer access, this does the same thing, but in my opinion isn't quite as good.
