100 point rebel list help

By Noj00, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Hello I got a store tournament coming up my first one and could do with some help making a list.

I have

The core box original one

A wing

Y wing

B wing

Rebel aces

Starviper

Poe

Hwk

Most wanted

Falcon

The two lists I have in mind are

Poe, ptl, bb8, auto thrusters

Blue squad b wing with accuracy corrector

Keyan farlander with ptl and auto blaster

Or Poe as above

2x blue squad b wing with auto blaster and accuracy corrector

One will have the b wing upgrade and Intel agent.

Any pointers would be really helpful

Thanks

Those both sound awesome. I'm still new myself and ordering a Falcon.

My list will be

Poe

BB-8, VI

Coran Horn

FCS, R2-D2

Gold Squadron Pilot

TLT

I would say that accuracy corrector is a little overrated. I would recommend using FCS instead as will increase the chances of getting 3+ damage in, especially is using the auto blaster turret

I second the motion to go FCS over AC. The thing is that AC is best on ships that can only typically score two hits like TIE Advanced. On a B-Wing, if you use FCS instead, you will more likely hit at least 2 hits but probably 3 if you're focused as well. Then if you get into range one you have a good chance at 4. So you really limit the B's firepower by taking AC instead of FCS.

FCS looks good But isn't there a trade off with 3 dice and fcs you can hit with 3 or less yes you get a nice re roll but that re roll can still end up with noting to show for it. Where as the accuracy corrector is 3 hits or 2 minimum regardless. Or am I missing something with the target lock?

Also which list would fair better 2 cheaper b wings with range 1 turrets or a higher pilot skill with the ability to use stress as a focus?

Thanks for your help so far going to try fcs tonight to see what it changes.

FCS should net you a minimum of 2 hits most of the time (and greater odds of 3). Yes, there is a chance that you re-roll the dice and get nothing, so there is more variance. What makes it really shine though is the fact that you don't need to target lock as an action. So you are always taking focus unless you need to barrel roll. Typically, with focus + TL, you WILL get 3 hits quite a lot. And at R1, that's a high probability for 4 hits.

Accuracy corrector still lets you take actions too, so its not like you don't have a chance for 3 or 4 hits, but it certainly is less of a chance compared to FCS. The biggest drawback for FCS is the fact you don't get its benefit the first time you shoot at a target. This becomes pronounced if you end up switching targets a lot (something you don't really want to do with FCS, but can with accuracy corrector).

Another cool system for a b-wing is advanced sensors. Its value increases as you get more savvy with the game, because it allows you to take moves in ways that your opponent won't be able to predict easily (by barrel rolling before revealing your dial). It also gives you an action before you k-turn (or any other red move, something the b-wing has a bit), an action when you go over an asteroid or debris and even when you bump into other ships (or use barrel roll to avoid bumping if that helps you).
