The article didn't really say what that means? It's a new header type on the first 0 cost EPT, Adaptability, but what does it mean FFG?
What is "Dual Card"?
There are several threads about this already. It has not been revealed yet.
The best guess right now is that it's a two-sided card, where you can choose which side to use at the start of the game, or maybe at the start of each round.

This.
I was pretty disppointed that they revealed the upgrade using the brand new mechanic, but didn't explain what the new mechanic actually does. That's just asking fir people to speculate, assume they've figured it out, build up expectations and then get plussed when those expectations aren't met.
WHEN you chose it is going to be the key. Start of a round could be fun!

Anything other than start of the round makes it kind of pointless. If it's at the start of the game, just make it two separate, 0 point EPTs. At the start of the round makes much more sense, particularly given the card's name.

Gotta be.
Sounds like a powerful upgrade. 2 point ps swing could be really powerful. Imagine squaring off against a ship with the same PS. On one turn, take the low ps to Block, next turn flip it to get the kill shot.
All for zero points. Seems potentially very potent
Well it still has the cost of an ept which isn't free.

The flip card is the most likely answer considering
there are only two of the later in the preview,
the other two must be on the back/flip side.

Ah, that makes sense. For a minute, I thought it was going to be a EPT card that doesn't take up your EPT slot, but makes you chose another EPT to equipt. So effectively, "dual cards". This makes more sense, especially since the article says you can move your PS up or down, but the spoiled side of the card just says increase your PS.

Both sides are include in the image gallery for the article.

They got a lot of mileage out of Tractor Beams using that strategy. I think they strung that one out over 3 previews (or was it 4).

Two different EPTs wouldn't let you swap between rounds in a tournament.
I'm hoping it's cooler than that though. It might be neat if you used one side for the combat phase and one for the activation phase. It would be a pain in the ass to keep track of though.
