Imperial Test Build

By Milienius, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

Alright I am pretty new and this is one of my first test builds based off what I presently have and I am curious what you guys think. This is not my only build but it's the first I want to run by people.

400/400

Commander: Admiral Screed

AO: Precision Strike

NO: Superior Positions

DO: Contested Outpost

ISD-II (120)

-Screed (26)

-Avenger (5)

-Overload Pulse (8)

-Electronic Countermeasures (8)

VSD-II (85)

-Corrupter (4)

-Boosted Comms (5)

Raider-I (44)

-Ordnance Experts (4)

-Boosted Comms (4)

Rhymer (16)

TIE Bomber (9)

Fel (18)

TIE Advanced (12)

TIE Fighter x 4 (32)

I understand that I am essentially giving up the initiative and have picked objectives to try and balance that out. My raider is essentially acting as a pocket carrier to push my Fel and a TIE forward while taking any targets of opportunity. My VSD is also acting as a carrier that can hold out and pushes my TIE advanced and bomber force forward. This leaves me with a flexible force of 3 TIEs to act as a potential screen or attack force. My ISD set up should be pretty clear as it is supposed to fight at mid-range and essentially negate defense tokens making it quite the bruiser.

Looks like a good build.

One adjustment i'd make: Electronic Countermeasures is better than redundant sheilds in my opnion.

Yeah I saw that in another thread and came to the same conclusion upon looking at it again. The Brace is more important.

I am now tinkering with the list trying to find a way to squeeze gunnery teams onto the ISD. Perhaps making the VSD-II a VSD-I? Is that worth it though or would I be overloading the ISD with upgrades? I am debating it and would like some input.

Realized something in a rules clarification thread. Fleet is worthless. Moving along
