Love the show, Aaron Bonar interview was great but, at the end of the show while trying to explain a psychological effect of the brain and misinformation they brought up Donald Trump supporters. Please I beg you in the future treat X wing like a bar... No politics and no religion. Look forward towards the next show.

I don't think it's politics to say Trump and his supporters are massive arseholes, just facts.
Besides, if you want to take the more common argument of 'keep your politics out of my games', then I'd respond that if it's made by a human, it has some form of politics or personal opinion in it.
So... No politics, no religion, but it's perfectly ok to try and kill someone because your friend doesn't like them (and you don't like them either!)

Trump isn't politics. He's a sideshow. A diversion no different than a reference to aquaman or Darrow au Andromedus.
Politics in general are a sideshow, people are just mad that Trump is a running it instead of being just another exhibit.

Krull: hate to burst your bubble, but there is a lot of misinformation in modern politics, it's getting worse, and it's not evenly distributed across the political spectrum. Anyone trying to peddle false equivalencies doesn't have informing the public as a primary goal.

Or you could make a fairly reasonable request and offer feedback on the content of the show. I know if I was making a podcast I'd rather have people tell me what they like and don't like about it then simply stop listening.

This game boils down to good(terrorists/scum) vs evil(relatively benign/ crushingly authoritarian). Politics these days are picking the shiniest of turds, the shiniest this time being incredibly hilarious. And all I can do is watch it while my own country slides into liberal domination.

As soon as I heard that Trump was leading among the Republicans, I said that the real question was if we'd be looking at President Clinton or President Sanders. In theory it won't have an impact on me since I'm Canadian, but in practice if Trump actually managed to win the White House I suspect I'd get a lot of new neighbours.
From an outside perspective, it seems like the Republicans have been shooting themselves in the foot over and over again for about twelve years now. It seems like whenever they lose an election, they respond by moving farther and farther to the right. Then they wonder why neutral voters have start voting Democratic, so they try moving even farther to the right.

Trump is the republican candidate, there are no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Sanders would be alright but if Trump became president (fingers crossed), Trudeau might grow a little backbone.

Star Wars is good vs evil, the PT tried to throw in politics and a lot of people didn't like it.
The whole point of the Death Star is political, and Obi-Wan is doing everything he can to get Luke to follow his religion. The PT simply made the background politics the main focus, which was a mistake.
As far as specifying real-world versus fantasy world, some people started talking real world, other started talking in-universe politics, so yeah. As someone else pointed out, though, perhaps this is not the place to put specific feedback for the podcast, but rather the podcast's own site.
