Like many - I've been trying to figure out a fun way to make Merc lists.

I was just wondering if it would be worth running Dengar with explosive armaments PURELY against un-HARMed targets, to get that extra guaranteed surge. This way, you're half the way to a pretty big hit with Dengy every time he fires. (Of course - you would always still apply STUN when the enemy isn't grouped AND if you have leftover surge.)

I imagine this in a list with Gideon and Threep to keep those sweet focus rolls coming. You can also Throw Leia in to try to get that blast off more than once, or Luke for the reroll.

Some other thoughts - Add the jetpack command card to get him popping around the map hitting your 'really should be protected' back row? Set a trap to keep those blasts firing in the cantina?

Hmm. i had the same thought, but I think his ability to just shut down units with a stun bleed combo off two surges is probably more useful than a blast.
