Edited by imprezagoateeWoo hooooo!
Tractor beam just got turned up to 11 holy moley.
OH SH------
WHOA TRACTOR BEAM. Defenders with title and tractor beam just got really, really interesting.
Whaa...tractor beam might be broken. Holy cow, just one point to roll/boost you where I want? Also, unfortunately that makes it even MORE of a PS bid weapon, (though now at least usable on low PS).
Tractor Beam is SO much more than we thought. Tie/D title is completely sick now.
I guess we know why they changed the rule about boosting and barrel rolling off the board lol.
First favorite tractor shenanigans:
Roll Biggs away from the ships he is protecting. Defender can then fire at actual targets.
Boost Stresshog so that he doesn't have arc on any aces.
Edited by TasteTheRainbowI was told that the Mist Hunter would be last and that I was wrong at least 5 times. So haha, I was right. ![]()
So..... Adaptability. Do you choose when making your squad, do you decide which to use after seeing your opponent's squad, can you change it mid-game?
We don't know yet what exactly is a dual upgrade right? Looks like you choose which one of the 2 versions you want. But when, this is the question.
Ninja'd
Edited by MalanTaiYeah, the tractor beam is HILARIOUS, especially in light of the TIE/D. Adaptability, though, that looks interesting

I would assume when making the squad, but until we see the rules for dual upgrades that's hard to say for sure.

Yeah, I wish they actually explained it better.
But man, Tractor Beam is evil.
Also both Zuckuss + 4-LOM variants are FUN
I'd say like everything else it'll be during the list building. So if you come an official event your list will be written and the list will say 'increase' or 'decrease' on it.
Dual upgrades don't make much sense to me if you choose them when squad building since you choose everything. Mark my official guess as you pick which side at the start of each game.
-----UGAR.
This will change the game forever...
So, yeah, still no full explanation of dual upgrades and nothing explaining how you take a tractor beam without the appropriate slot with the title.

And makes sense with the name : you adapt in function of the enemy list.
Nice to see (but not unexpected) that Zuckuss and 4-LOM appear to combo well.
Adaptability is a very interesting card.
Did I Read it correctly, in that you can change anytime? Also, zero point upgrade is very useful. Also, each side is different on the card.
I take back all the mediocre things I said about tractor beam. It becomes a really hard choice to make for the TIE/D now.
I'm guessing dual means you need to equip both cards, not on the same ship. So you'd be stealing a pilot skill from one ship for another ship.
* Edit - As much as people seem to like this idea, I'm more convinced now that the dual refers to the dual sidedness of the card and not a shared effect across two ships. Time will tell. *
Edited by RookiePilotdoes the attacker control the barrell roll or does the defender...
