Elite Tuskens or Regular HKs?

By Rogue Dakotan, in Imperial Assault Skirmish

Which will give you more bang for your buck?

I tried eTuskens yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by how hard they hit.

Haven't had a chance to put the HKs through their paces but they seem like they'll die fast.

The list under consideration would be:

Boba

Dengar

Gideon

Threepio

Temp Alliance

Elite Hired Guns

Elite Tuskens and Devious Scheme OR HKs

In the case that I get sick of Dengar, I can replace him with eTuskens as well, as they're the same point cost. I would be 1 point short of running two HK groups. Two eTuskens sounds like a decent thing.

eTuskens and rTrandoshans are both great. Both don't compare very well with the HKs, because the fill totally different roles. Still, I would not use the HKs in your list.

It's a nice one- but I'd probably favour the HKs. Assuming you run Devotion in your Command list, it's not wasted if Threep gets blasted.

The tusken cycler is fun - but I'd rather be pewpewpewing with a harder hit (attack reroll) and punishing defense (defense reroll).

The Tusken Cycler is good, when you are stunned. Under any other circumstances, the Tuskens should melee.

Dengar is overcosted, get regular Trandoshans for some in-your-face fighting, then get Regular HKs to kill from afar. If you have spare points put targeting computer on the HKs.

Tusken Raiders are terrible. Go for the HKs.
