Hey Guys I'm a fairly new player. Me and a friend that I play with talk a lot about different lists, and make up some pretty fun\crazy lists. I was wondering what everyone thought of this list.

Not a bad starter list. The main thing is that you are going to want your commander on a more survivable ship.

If you play it and feel the MC80 and/or frigate die too easily start looking at Enhanced Counter Measures or some of the other more defensive upgrades.

As above, plus I suggest you divide your squadron into two groups:

Fight intercept, a group led by Wedge that you send to intercept the enemy fighters/bombers

Bomber wing, a group led by Nym which you send to attack enemy ships.

This will help you get the balance right.
