I have been just estimating the omega leader v Corran math and it is pretty frightening. Has anyone done the exact chances of hitting?

seems pretty trivial - since he prevents dice mods - assuming he has a target lock from a previous round and focus + evade from Comm - then it's just his expected hits into the ( expected evades - 1 ) - without the target lock, then that action takes place over focus, so back of the envelope you get...

Fel w Stealth.

Range 3 .125 hits
Range 3 focus .625 hits

Pretty good, because they're all positive results - but range 3 without focus is the toughest shot, nothing really surprising. We see that we really want to stack focus + target lock + evade. That's not as reasonable against Fel, Evade is reasonable from coms and target lock is reasonable, but as always the trick will be not having Fel arc dodge you. Omega Leader will be hard pressed to get dual range 1 w focus shots on Fel.

Fel is actually worse off than other aces, because fel is usually stacking focus + evade, which are both doing nothing for him against omega leader's attack, where as other ships are likely to have fewer evades for juke to counter, and higher hit points to care less about the damage that makes it through - Poe can just spend his focus to regen 1 shield - negating 1 of 2 possible hits from Omega. Fel only has the 3 HP to begin with in that scenario.

Ignoring Omega allows him to TL (which really isn't too difficult anyway since TL is not restricted to in-arc) and gives him time to set up an approach on a crafty ship like Soontir.

The above math alone is serious cause to make Omega a prime target when flying Aces, however.

Captain Kagi is pretty expensive for what he does, but he's trolly... as is Alozen I meant strom.. in the Tie Adv. come to think of it... I wonder if Alozen Strom shuts down the inquisitor.

yes, and being that he's the highest PS Shuttle i feel as if a Tractor beam or Ion Cannon wouldnt be amiss on him. granted in this case with all the other ships being higher PS than him (troll list) tractor wouldnt be great, but ion cannon and RC makes him 1/3 the list... not saying not worth, but less forgiving.

Edit: Maybe even Mara Jade... get kagi in there to take ALL THE TL's, then give all the stress.

Kagi is going to be the bane of Long Range sensors, it'd only be corner cases but it'd be funny as hell.

Omega ace isn't that good. He's cheap for what he does, but has trouble doing damage. Watched one of our local aces this weekend in Atlanta bust him out, and it wasn't exactly a panty-dropper. He finished 3-1-1 (that's right, a 0-0 draw) and took 9th in Swiss.

Fel Vader is actually worse off than other aces, as he can't add +1 Crit result from ATC when attacking Omega Leader, forcing him to rely on unmodified 2 (or 3) dice shots to try and strip Omega Leader's Evade to avoid Juke.

But I jest, they both get pretty screwed over pretty heartily by Omega Leader + Juke + Comm (assuming OL gets a shot).
