I understand that, when a ship uses a Squadron Command, you can activate squadrons at Close-Medium range to move and attack. If they move out of that range as part of their activation, can they then attack (while being beyond Close-Medium)?
Squadron Command Range
yes?
Yes. The range thing is just relevant to check if you can ACTIVATE them. Once activated, they can move/shoot (in either order).
I didn't want to start a new thread just for this, so sorry for hijacking I guess
When I reveal a Squadron command dial and combine it with a Squadron token... Does the token add 1 squadron viable to activate?
Basically Mon Cal Command Cruiser activates, dial (4 squadrons) + token (1 squadron) = 5 squadrons
Yes, it does.
Well, technically, it doesn't add one. It just happens. It happens either immediately before, or immediately after at your discretion.

Correct. Works the same with Engineering commands and to an extent Navigation Commands
If a token happens independently, that would allow a ship with Tallon to activate the same squadron twice in the same squadron round if it spent a token and a command. Right?
And now that I think about it, Han Solo could activate 3 time a turn
No, Han can only activate Twice.
And if his
first
activation is his own at the Start of the Ship Phase, then in all other parts of the Round, he's already
been
activated and cannot activate again.
So the only way he can activate twice, is
once
during the Ship Phase, by a Ship with Adar Tallon on it, who flips him back to Unactivated, and then with his regular Squadron Activation in the Squadron Phase.
The best you can get is 2.

You are correct in that Logic, However... It is based on the incorrect assumption.
Tokens do not happen independently. In fact, you can only activate a command once ... So if you do a Dial and a Token, they add together into the One command, and you only flip Adar Tallon's chosen squadron back after the entire command is resolved.
