No. It means that every year, between Episodes, there will be a Star Wars movie that is not part of the Skywalker Family Dysfunction series. I have heard rumblings of a Han Solo early days movie along with a Bounty Hunters centered movie.

The Han Solo solo movie is confirmed, but that's all we know at this stage. So there's at least one more coming that we don't have a title/premise for yet.

In all seriousness, probably the number one thing I'd really like to see these Anthology films cover (if Rogue 1 is a war movie and the Han Solo hopefully has some Firefly-esque Space Western elements) is something that's basically The Battle of Britain with X-wings. A squadron of Rebel pilots are a small backwater world's last hope as the Imperials launch their invasion. One by one they are picked off flying against incredible odds, each dying a hero and a) ultimately triumphing over the tyrannical Empire or b) making a valiant last stand with the meagre ground forces they are trying to defend in the face of a full scale Imperial ground assault. Hands tighten on blasters, engines power up, an AT-AT's foot slams down, cut to credits...

Failing that very specific daydream, I'll take anything where I can stare at X-wings in flight for a couple of hours...

Im sure there is other planets with trees. Also at the time of its release six months ago the film hadn't even started to film. And it takes place before the Death Star goes to Yavin. It's about the plans being stolen that Leia then has with her on the Tantive.

Rogue Squadron appeared in The Empire Strikes Back. It was the name of the Snowspeeder group that Wedge and Luke were both a part of in the Battle of Hoth.
