Critical effects with cards - multiple trigger?

By EUBanana, in Star Wars: Armada

Quick question, hope it's not old ground... but cards that cause an effect when you roll a critical hit - for example Assault Proton Torpedoes, Assault Concussion Missiles, Ion Cannon Batteries...

If you roll multiple criticals does that mean the card activates multiple times? Like if a VSD1 with Assault Concussion Missiles rolls 2 separate critical hits on it's 3 front facing black dice, does that mean 2 points of damage to adjacent hull zones?

negative. You can only apply a single crit effect per attack. It doesn't matter if that crit effect is from the default "deal the first damage card face up" or APT's "deal a face up damage card". It doesn't matter if you roll four black dice and get four hit/crit results. You can only do it once per attack.

however, you can do it twice per turn if you can double arc an enemy ship (once for each attack).

Okay, thank you.

Here, have a Handy Dandy video!

The only way to activate a crit multiple times is to throw something at your opponent (GSDs work well for this) and while they're dealing with that situation, flip over all of their damage cards.

I would use MC30s in this role, they are aerodynamic, sit well between finger and thumb, are shaped for a nice fast flicking motion type throw, have no snappy off bits and don't have those blind your opponent pointy bits.......
