Interesting. I ran a similar list yesterday (gold instead of grey) three yesterday with a significantly different build of upgrades.

It seems like outmaneuver and R7 are working at cross purposes. Sure, R7 gives you a boost, but that is not likely to get you out of firing arc and lined up for a shot in the same round, which means no benefit from out maneuver. Ion cannon on the y has some interesting implications I think I might adapt into my own list. I've been running R2-D2 on Poe, but am considering swapping for R5-P9.

I would look at BB-8 on Wedge - it worked well for me yesterday (3rd place out of 19 players). Good luck!

You don't think the boost can get you out of arc but still able to shoot at least as often as BB-8's roll will help?

I'll happily swap the droid, but I love the idea of Outmaneuver and Wedge's natural ability dropping somebody by 2 green dice. Will it work a lot? Probably not. But I can't wait to see what happens when it does.

I like Outmaneuver, makes you think and try harder to get behind your target.

The list looks good, Poe and Wedge gives you two very good aces with the Warthog giving you some stability.

I think Dobougob352 is referring to Poe and 4-5 Z95s.

For my mileage, yes. The R7 requires you to start in their arc it offers no benefit if you're not flying down their throat. Whereas BB-8 works from any angle any time you take a green maneuver. Tack on engine upgrade and push the limit, and you've got a mini interceptor with Wedge's gunnery ability. Figure this:

Reveal a green; BB-8 barrel roll: PTL for boost; gain stress; execute green maneuver; remove stress; take target lock or focus action. Granted, he doesn't get auto thrusters, so turrets remain a significant threat, but with an effective tight turn - 1 bank and the boost to arc dodge and get a potential shot from the side, and your opponent could have a very bad day.

But that's not to say it's the only way it can work. I look forward to hearing how your build works, because I do think it has some potential!

I would probably change a couple things.

Wedge + BB8 + PTL/Predator + IA

Poe + R2D2/R5P9 + VI + AT
Grey Squadron + TLT + R3A2 + BTL-A4

More consistent I think, longer stress threat range, and really lets Wedge go to town without being overly worried about positioning.

I like that combo a lot, but with the stress heavy meta I am not sure about taking anything that relies on being able to perform a red or take actions.

I'd take a 3 point initiative bid over out maneuver on wedge. I don't think you're getting to much from the ps bid on the hog. I played a similar list for a bit consisting of poe miranda and the stesshog, it's been fun and it's versatile. I worry you're really all in one jousting with the current list and don't have enough efficency or durability to go with it.

The main benefit of r7t1 with wedge IME is actually to boost you straight, into R1. It won't help with arc dodging though like bb8. If your rolling with the former I'd suggest crackshot instead of outmaneuver.

If you do switch to bb8 PtL is very good but a budget build gets by just fine without push leaving your EPT open for whatever.

Yes I was talking about Poe with 5 Z95's....it puts a lot on the table and its just plan fun...has a lot of mileage if you fly if the right way...

I ran this for a few weeks in my league. It proved nasty.

Sounds like fun but I'm not picking up 3 more Z-95s anytime soon.

Drop Outmaneuver on Poe, using Greens he isn't going to flying behind a lot of things. Get Predator, lets you spend your action on Focus or Boost, and you can reroll a blank for more consistent damage.

I did mean to give Poe Predator. Not sure how he ended up with Outmaneuver. Must have had a "brilliant" idea. Damned if I remember what it was though.
