interacting with terminals

By Zetara, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Hey guy,

I'm fairly new to this whole posting thing so I hope this is in the right forum.

So I have a question about interacting with terminals when a large figure is on top of it.

Last night my group of friends and I ran across this scenario in the campaign mission "A New Treat" where I the Imp player placed the Nexu on top of the

terminal. The rebel player tried to interact with it, I brought up the point the when corners of a red line or door touch it blocks adjacency, but they argued that it does not

block adjacency. I eventually I could not find anything and gave up and allowed them to interact with it. I have attached a picture showing the problem.

Thanks for the help,

Zetara

Tiles 22b, 36b

"Adjacent" pg 4 RRG

" A space is adjacent to each other space that shares an edge or corner with the space."

Since these 2 spaces share a corner, they are adjacent.

The rule that may be confusing you is this rule:

"Spaces on either side of the diagonal intersection of walls and/or blocking terrain are not adjacent to each other"

Which an example is shown on pg 26. But this wouldn't apply to your situation. It is saying that if the terminal was one space below where it is now, Gharrkin and the terminal would no longer be adjacent.
