Why is SW7 so good for them?
For CR90B in particular it's good because
1) you have comparable blue dice to a heavy capital ship,
2) with command 1, you can reliably CF for a 3/3 double arc,
3) your maneuverability is ridiculous, and
4) with 3 dice, you almost NEVER want accuracies.
It takes 4 of these to destroy an ISD (apart from APP or Motti) from any arc if you get double arcs. Not probably, not 95% of the time, *guaranteed*. The guaranteed damage numbers allow you to play much more efficiently than estimates, because you don't have to plan for bad rolls even if it's crucial that the target die.
Taking three damage over and over is extremely hard to defend against. It's like taking fighter shots over and over.
