The "Winged Blade" item says the following:

-Each time you perform an attack, you may change the result of 1 defence die of your choice.-

Question:

When does it exactly occur?

After we rolled the dice?

or

Can it be detonated anytime during the attack action?

But what if i play an overlord card and i reroll a die and he change my 3 shields to 0 :\.

I ask this because as you can see no detonating information is attached to this item.

Friendly tip 'trigger' and 'detonate' have similar meanings when talking about bombs, but 'detonate' has very little meaning in this context. 'Trigger' is a much better word.

Anyway- this is after rolling dice. If a reroll ability and this ability are both used, it would be up to the active player (usually the attacker) to determine in which order they happen. In most cases, this means you can't really change anything much by re-rolling. The attacker will just get to turn it to the '0' side.

Roll the attack and defense die. Whatever result comes up on the defense die, you can pick one of the die up and change it to the result you wish. So after dice are rolled.

If the OL has a card that allows him to change the result though, he can counter your changing of the die by doing whatever it says on his card.
