Okay, so, the Dark Forces games are my favorite Star Wars games... Hell, they might well be my favorite Star Wars anything. I'm kicking around the idea of using the storylines from the games as a campaign (obviously, subbing in the players for Kyle Katarn). I built the various Dark Trooper Phases a while ago, but it looks like I lost them; basically, the Phase II Dark Trooper is identical to the Dark Trooper in the AoR book, but with the Cortosis quality on their armor (due to the Phrik construction). The Phase I had less soak, and of course the trademark Shield and blade, and I can't remember quite how I handled Phase III. Need to get around to doing Rom Mohc too, and just have Phase III be him with extra soak and weaponry, etc.
Last night, I started working up the Dark Jedi from the second game using the Inquisitor rules. I started with Yun. I want him to model the character fairly accurately, which would honestly probably not be quite as strong as a regular Inquisitor, but then again, he'd be up against a whole party, not just one dude, so maybe he needs to be buffed up.
Since as far as I'm aware, there's no info about what lightsaber form he uses, but we know he's really good at telekinesis, I figured maybe he uses Niman. I set his 5 in Willpower, and gave him the Lightsaber Mastery (Will) ability (though again, that probably makes him a lot more skilled in lightsabering than he probably should be), and Move (obviously) and set Brawl as his secondary combat skill due to his background in martial arts training (according to his profile on Wookiepedia). I set his talents as Parry 4, and just to put something down, I chose Scathing Tirade, but I'm thinking I'll get rid of that. He's outfitted with Armored Clothes (didn't think what he wore could really qualify as full on Armored Robes), and I think I'll give his lightsaber some kind of hilt mod to represent how it's supposed to mold to the wielders hand, though what, I'm not sure. Here's the link to his Wookiepedia profile, which mentions it (don't remember it being mentioned in the game or the novellas, so it was probably just made up for some reference book or something): http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Yun
So, having never made an Inquisitor character before, first off, does that sound like a good idea? How about whether it would actually feel like Yun in play? Anything I'm forgetting/missing?
EDIT: Actually put in the Wookiepedia link
