Minion Groups Question
Just a quick question about minion groups do they all have to be the same minion type or could I have a group of multiple adversary types like 2 imp troopers and 2 droids I haven't seen any rule that says you can't but I would like to make sure.
The problem here is the different stats. Stormtroopers have an agility of 3, while the droids my have a different one.
But every new member after in the minion group gives un upgrade to the group skill. Let's say it's Ranged Heavy, 5 Stormtroopers means 4 upgrades to the 3 Agility, which comes out as 3 yellow and 1 green dice. How will that work with the, say Agility 2 droids?
If they have the same stat, though I don't see a problem there.
Fair enuff that example I gave wasn't something I was planning on doing was just something I thought of off top of my head but yeah I hear ya the stat difference didn't even occur to me and it should have been the first thing that came to mind. Fortunately I haven't done any multi minion groups and was just thinking of a possibility in the future for now I will stick with having different minion groups containing different minion adversaries if I want them to fight a range of enemies.
If you want two of each then it would be better to treat them as two separate minion groups. As pointed out above, it avoids stat confusion and it also allows them to act independently (which may matter if they're in different places or trying to do different things.)
You can, of course, describe a group however you like. the dice would always be consistent though.
