Happy Friday FFG community. My wife and I have a question for you. We want to start a second campaign, and our question is this. Do we have start off our campaign with Aftermath or can we start off on a side mission? Thank you and have a great weekend.

Every campaign begins with the first story mission "Aftermath". A rebel victory or loss will determine the next story mission.

After playing Aftermath for the umpteenth time, it tends to get old.

Assuming you don't have Return to Hoth, a house rule I happen to like is instead of playing Aftermath, you substitute a neutral mission not currently in the rebel mission deck. Claim that mission's rewards per normal, but the victor of that mission determines Story Mission #1 instead of Aftermath. (So you would refer to Aftermath only for the victory condition that determines Story Mission #1, based on who won).
