Xizor's ability reads that an ally in range one suffers an uncanceled hit result. Two questions.

1: If a ship with a stealth device takes this damage does it kills the stealth device since it suffers 1 uncanceled hit result?

2: Could said ship spend an evade token to brush that off since it's taking a hit result, not just taking damage ala Vader or a seismic charge?

1. No, if Xizor passes an uncancelled hit or crit, it is not considered an attack on the other friendly ship, and therefore does not strip the Stealth Device.

2. No, you can't spend an evade token, because it's not an attack on that ship. Xizor is the only one that can spend any evade tokens during the attack, and that's during the Defender Modifies Defense Dice step. His ability triggers at the end of the Compare Results step where you establish if there are any uncancelled results.

1. No, you only lose your stealth device when hit by an attack

2. No, you can only spend evade tokens during "defender modifies defence dice" step when defending an attack (there are exceptions, such as the Interceptor pilot who can spend evades to generate extra hit results, but this is not one of those exceptions)

the key is in the word SUFFER damage. Xizor would suffer a damage but instead some other player does suffer it. They are not in the position to spend tokens
