I was always fond of A-wings. One of my first Lego sets was an A-wing.
I was also lucky enough to get the X-wing. At the time I didn't realize it, but that specific X-wing model was the first Lego Star Wars set to come out. I still have all the pieces floating around, but there's no way the instruction book still exists. Need to find one online or something

Chunky ships in general; 6+ hitpoints. Bomber, Y-wing, B-wing. Love all three. Meaning I have a core ship for my squads in any faction

I'd say it's a tie between the Interceptor and Phantom. Both, if used correctly, can be very devastating to your opponent, but it is going to cost you if you make a single mistake in how you fly them.

Shuttle. Easily under estimated. Extremely tough to fly well. Errors in judgment often cause a 3 turn deficit.

Non-competitively, ptl brobots are quite fantastic too.
