Hello, I wanted to post that question here to see if anyone thinks this list can take on the current meta. Post worlds.
So that means lots of regen, emperor shuttles, and stuff.
Your thoughts?

Doubt it.
I've flown similar with VI Vader instead of Fel. You do t have an initiative bid and that hurts Fel a lot.
I'd be more tempted as i said by 35pt VI Vader as I ran or 4x Crack Black squad as they will pinch through greens much more reliably.

This.
Fel with 5 Obsidians might as well be just a 35 point list vs. a lot of things in the meta. 2 attack dice ships are obsolete unless you have Crackshot or Juke or whatever. 3 Black Squadrons and an Omega Squadron all with Crackshot would better serve you than 5 Obsidians.
5 worthless ships, or 4 good ones?
Fel excels with a bit of an initiative bid and a 2/3 ship list. Having said that, this very list won a nationals and some other big tournaments I believe. That was last season though, and the meta has changed a bit. I still think it could do well in the hands of a good player, but everyone's going gaga over crack shot and of course the new TIE/FO is enticing with its shield and s-loops...
You could 'update' it with 4 zeta squad pilots (coming in at 99 points even gives you a tiny initiative bid). Alternatively, go with 3 blacks w/ crack + 1 omega w/ crack (or howlrunner w/ crack) along with 'standard' Fel at 98 (99 with howl).
i won my store champions ship with
35 point fel
2X omega+crackshot
wampa
chaser
I do not own the cards to run Wampa.
However I like your build a lot and I can't wait to go try it

I just don't get this attitude. There are plenty of targets in the meta for the Obsidians, and against aces they can still block. 3-5 2 dice ships pouncing on a Lambda, a Y-Wing, a K-Wing or even a YT-2400 can absolutely do some damage, and in many of these cases they'll move last (potentially arc dodging) and shoot first. Triple Aces are obviously going to be tricky, but one successful block and you could have a real chance.
That exact list won the dutch nationals this year. It's a good list, but suffers in the tlt/stresshog meta.
I'm pretty confident in this list. I'll post later how it does next week.
I have played enough games to watch my opposition ignore certain ships like obsidians or academies.

But shift it has.
Yes there are plenty of targets that a miniswarm loves but anything an Obsidian likes to shoot, a crack black shoots at better whilst the crack black is effective against targets that the Obsidian will struggle against.
No one has told the OP the list is hopeless, just that a small adjustment will give him a better shot.
Edit.. In the case of spending 100pts in a list with Fel though, that is a bad idea. Plain and simple. Remember the question wasn't is this OK or is this fun. Question is will it win a store champ. The adjusted lists all have a better shot.

How do you figure? 5 PS3 Obsidians shoot first and can do a lot of damage to 1-die ships. They also don't really give a **** about a Stresshog, because it's only incapacitating a 13 point ship. Count me for one that thinks 5 TIEs can make a solid dent in most things due to the blocking potential.
Or you could just use Crackshot and actually kill something when you do get a block.
2 attack dice ships are obsolete unless you have Crackshot or Juke or whatever. Those 5 Obsidians will do nothing to a (post nerf) Phantom or Poe or Super Corran.
The fact that one of the Crack Squadrons can be an FO seals the deal for me.
Edited by ParaGoomba SlayerCan? Sure, anything is possible.

The stresshog can cripple Soontir, after which it is a lot easier to deal with the rest of this list.

You're simply wrong... And you're annoying about it... Anyone reading his comments, he is wrong... You can have success with a 6-7 TIE swarm that doesn't feature crack shot... You can kill the Poes and Phantoms in the game by superior flying, blocking, and getting range 1 shots in... It's funny to me as often as he went on about turrets being brain dead to fly, he loves pointing a swarm at something, shooting, and just cancelling evades to do damage...

If you are letting a Stresshog put tokens on Soontir while you've got 5 TIEs on the board, you were outplayed and deserve to lose the match.

At least I have to point my ships arlt something and not just smack an ice cream bar on my face.
I think it can, sure. People who think two-attack ships without CS/Juke are 100% useless in the meta are making crazy talk, and Fel is Fel: he can win games all on his own.
With that said, running right at 100 points is a weakness. Dropping a TIE to get Crack Squadron on the board would be better, or you could simply downgrade a pair of Obsidians to Academies. You want to drop down to at least 98 points to help you get that initiative bid. If you don't, you run the risk of losing out to someone else with a PS9 ship that Fel can no longer arc dodge, which will kill you if you're not careful.
Then again, maybe if you lose initiative you're just that good at throwing your blocks with those TIE Fighters.
I watched the Dutch finals between this list and two IG's. I was a little board while watching it. The commentator did mention that he thought that this swarm list was a time consuming style. I think that I will look into more options. Thanks for all the hot debate.

while true, you have to add a stipulation
you can but you can't control it beyond a certain step
green dice, even without mods, can and will spike and screw you out of a rightfully dead ace. You cannot outfly green dice
Crackshot is a phenomenal upgrade that secures important kills that you would have otherwise been denied
given the choice, I'd say winners do Crack(shot)
Obsidians are money at murdering TLTs, though (so are Black squaddies, but you get one more obsidian), so I'd guess it's down to personal preference and local meta
now me, I trust dice about as much as a grenade without a pin. Crackshot blacksquads w/crackshot Howlie for me, no questions asked

I agree with you for sure that Crack Shot Swarm > Regular 7 TIE Swarm... I was just disagreeing with the idea that swarms without crack shot simply can not compete... I don't believe that for a second... But yes, I plan on running a crack shot swarm for my store champion and any others that I go to...

I almost beat a Soontir today. It was a red squadron with R7 and IA and Tarn Mison with R7 and IA both full health. I blocked him once and rolled 2 hits, and he blocked it with 5 greens and autothrusters. Eventually I blocked him again and got a hit crit through.
Of course the crit was the stupid "all damage cards are faceup from now on" one on a ship with one health.
Then because I was flying X-Wings it wasn't possible for me to get another block and Soontir went back to his game breaking binary nuanceless, "If I get to perform my actions I'm invincible and I get to move wherever the hell I want to" mode.
So yes, when you get outplayed with an Ace there is a good chance that your dice will pull you through. And unlike say, a TIE Fighter that gets lucky with a 3/3 evade roll or two, the person playing against that ace has spent his one or two chances to get a decent shot and has lost the game.
A TIE Fighter that gets lucky and dodges something it shouldn't? Well it's a TIE Fighter, you'll have plenty of chances to kill it. Soontir that gets blocked and gets lucky on a roll? Welp, there goes the game.
