Punishing One spoiled

So correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like he can get two explosions out of Dead Man Switch. We won't know for sure until we see English text, but it certainly sounds line he is destroyed before recovering. Then, when he is destroyed again, it detonates again.

Hah, I hope not. I foresee silly discussions about him being able to shoot multiple times in a round (ie. he gets Swarm Tactics'ed, shoots, dies, comes back, shoots again at his own PS).

Not likely, as he is never destroyed. Much like Fel doesn't get his Focus if Yorr takes the stress instead.

Or maybe no stress; I'm starting to suspect Gonk will work like this:

"At [whatever point] you may recover a shield token. You may choose to recover more than 1 shield token; for every token recovered above 1 roll an attack die and suffer any hits or crits rolled"

That doesn't work. I choose to gain 10,000 shields back. Statistically, half of those will also cause a damage that removes the token gained, but the other half doesn't so I gain a net 5,000 shields.

In an interview Alex (I think) said that one side has a lot of whites and the other lots of greens.

This really intrigues me, because that means the JM5000 will always prefer to be set up on one side of the table, making it easier for informed opponents to set up to counter a high PS Jumpmaster before it's even set.

Mindgames. And then the opponents sets the JM5000 NOT there....

The first time you should be destroyed, cancel remaining damages, discard all your damage cards and assign four facedown damage cards to this ship.

No longer a secret.

I think I Danger him with oridence then the title. Take the 2 dice attacks as a freebee and setup weapons for devistating turns. Keeps him fairly trim also to run with other things.

I definitely prefer ordinance on the PS-7 guy.

if it doesn't have many reds or if it doesn't use PTL, not really

True true. After posting this I thought on it for a second and thought, "Well, unless one side is ALL red, this probably isn't the case."

Even if it were, you'd likely be able to clear it in turn 2 if you approach slowly.

Or just set up in the other corner, turned 90 to move along your edge, still so many options.
